REPAQ™ Requalification and Reuse Program
To keep shipping costs in check, many companies reuse their insulated shipping boxes. But, thermal testing has revealed that all insulation, regardless of type, degrades over time causing the performance of insulated shippers to decline.
To ensure the superior performance and hold time capability of AcuTemp Qualified and Custom Insulated Shippers, AcuTemp invites users to participate in its REPAQ™ requalification and reuse program. Through REPAQ, customers can have their insulated shipping boxes visually inspected, cleaned and thermally requalified to establish their thermal integrity prior to reuse. No other reuse program thermally requalifies units prior to reuse.
AcuTemp qualified and custom boxes purchased under the AcuTemp REPAQ program are eligible for lifetime requalification. With AcuTemp REPAQ, users are able to repeatedly reuse their insulated shipping boxes with total confidence that they will perform as originally promised.
How It Works
AcuTemp REPAQ is simple and straightforward. To have your shipping box processed, simply return it via the prepaid shipping label included in the box and AcuTemp will take care of the rest. A minimal reclamation and retest fee applies each time a box is processed. Contact AcuTemp for details regarding the reclamation and retest fee.
Upon receipt at AcuTemp, the boxes will undergo the following procedures:
- Each shipper is visually inspected and the serial number of the thermal component tracked.
- The corrugated outer shell is replaced as are any damaged internal components.
- Items that can be reused are cleaned in compliance with FDA 21 CFR 211 Subpart 94.
- The thermal components of each shipper are thermally tested to ensure they meet the original performance specifications prior to reuse. Any thermal components not meeting original performance specifications are replaced with new, fully tested components.
- The box is reassembled and returned to the customer for reuse.
From the first use to the hundredth, REPAQ provides a qualified shipper that can be reused with absolute Peace of Mind.
