Dayton, Ohio USA, July 15, 2010: AcuTemp Thermal Systems, www.acutemp.com, a manufacturer of temperature controlled packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, announces that Rick Lenhard has joined the company as Lead Engineer – Passive Systems. In the position, Rick has responsibility for the expansion of company’s line of AcuTemp Qualified Shippers and for the development and testing of custom passive shippers to meet specific customer profile requirements.
Mr. Lenhard is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology. Also a seasoned veteran of passive shipper development and qualification testing, Rick has 20 years of experience in the design of insulated shipping boxes utilizing thermal and structural research. Prior to joining AcuTemp, Rick held the position of Senior Project Engineer – Cold Chain Packaging for Tegrant Corporation/ThermoSafe Brands-ISC Labs.
