The HemaCool Mobile Blood Storage Refrigerator / Freezer is designed to safely store and transport blood and plasma under the harshest environmental conditions. The unit can also be utilized to transport temperature sensitive vaccines and other pharmaceutical products. This versatile system precisely maintains payload temperatures with dual setting capability for 4°C and -22°C operation. Its ergonomic, rugged design makes the HemaCool ideal for delivering lifesaving blood supplies quickly and safely to the point of need, whether in a mobile hospital or in the battlefield.

  • Eliminates ingress of water and dirt and won’t fail under the duress of military transportation
  • HemaCool can maintain internal temperatures at required levels for as long as 48 hours with internal batteries only
  • Can store 60 250 ml units or 40 450 ml units
  • Internal temperatures are continuously logged to ensure payload integrity; flexible data export options meet varying data capture requirements
  • Highly visible LCD display shows internal temperature, battery condition and data log information for assured payload integrity

The HemaCool is designed to meet stringent military specifications including MIL-STD 810F and MIL-STD 461E.

Configured as solar powered refrigerators, HemaCool units can operate indefinitely without an external power source.
