Brian Kohr
President and CEO

Brian joined AcuTemp in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer and has served as the company’s President and CEO since 2007. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Wright State University. Brian is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio.
Brian serves on several Boards of Directors including CSafe LLC, Mound Laser and Photonic Center, Inc. and Acclimate Technologies, Inc. He also serves as Chairman of the Board for the non-profit Entrepreneurs Center in Dayton, Ohio. Under Brian’s direction, AcuTemp has seen significant growth in applying the company’s
ThermoCor® vacuum insulation technology to its continually expanding line of passive and active temperature-controlled shipping solutions. Brian has a passion for successfully meeting the cold chain management requirements of each AcuTemp customer. His desire is to provide them with the highest performing thermal products and services so that each life-saving or life-enhancing payload shipped in an AcuTemp container reaches its destination at The Right Temperature® without exception.

Doug Tyger
Chief Operating Officer

Douglas W. Tyger is the Chief Operating Officer of AcuTemp Thermal Systems. In his role, Doug is responsible for day-to-day business planning and execution, sales, operations, quality, engineering and finance. As AcuTemp and its affiliates achieve significant growth, Doug and his team are ensuring that the company vision is realized for all stakeholders, including customers, employees, suppliers, and investors. Prior to joining the company, he held executive positions at AK Steel Corporation in sales and customer service, research, and customer technical services. Most recently as Managing Director of AK International, Doug led a global trading, logistics, and technical services company based in Europe. He has a BS in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Marshall Griffin
Chief Financial Officer

Marshall joined AcuTemp in early 2009 as Chief Financial Officer. A CPA and graduate of Wright State University, Marshall has over 25 years of financial leadership experience at both private and public manufacturing companies serving worldwide markets. He and his knowledgeable staff work together to ensure proper control and accountability of the company’s assets, as well as provide accurate and timely accounting and reporting of all commercial activities for the company. Marshall takes seriously his responsibility to oversee the profitable growth of the company to assure a sustained and bright future for the company.

Paul Kovarovic
Vice President of Business Development

Paul C. Kovarovic is Vice President of Business Development for AcuTemp’s Lifeline product offering. As AcuTemp and its affiliates continue to achieve significant growth, Paul’s responsibility is to manage the expanding global capabilities and product offering to further the role AcuTemp has in global passive and active cold chain transportation.  He is responsible for AcuTemp’s growing global network of sales distribution representatives as well as the sales to global military and health care organizations.  Paul is a former U.S. Air Force officer and has strategic experience in global revenue growth, institutional sales development and product line expansion. He has an M.S., Logistics Management, Air Force Institute of Technology and B.B.A., Economics, University of Georgia (Distinguished Military Graduate).

Dave Meyl
Vice President of Sales, Packaging

In May 2011, Dave Meyl joined AcuTemp as Vice President of Sales, Packaging. Dave provides sales leadership for the packaging sales team in working with Strategic Customer Accounts in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Biomedical Technology, and Medical Device Fields.

Dave has over 20 years of Sales, Marketing, and General Management experience in the Consumer Goods and Electronics industries with both small and large companies including The Iams Company, Procter and Gamble, and Activision Blizzard. Prior to joining AcuTemp, Dave held sales and executive leadership positions and most recently held the position of Sales Director, Walmart Team Leader for Activision/Blizzard.

Mr. Meyl earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Fla. and was a NCAA Varsity Athlete lettering for 4 years on the Football Team. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas Emerging Leaders Program and resides in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Sid Ream
Director of Operations

Sid joined the AcuTemp team in 2009 to direct the manufacturing of all AcuTemp products and to oversee the expansion of the company’s facilities to accommodate increased demand for AcuTemp products. Sid applies his 30+ years of supervisory, management and operations experience to ensure that all AcuTemp solutions are manufactured to the highest quality standards, on time, and to the customer’s satisfaction. Sid and his team oversee continuous manufacturing process improvement initiatives, keeping abreast of the latest technologies and efficiencies.

Doug Roberts
Vice President of Business Development - ThermoCor

Doug began his career with AcuTemp in 2005 as the Director of Operations where his mechanical engineering background and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma business management strategies were applied to provide strategic direction for the company’s manufacturing operations and process activities. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The State University of New York and an MBA degree from Ohio State University. In 2009, Doug transitioned to Vice President of Business Development for ThermoCor®, the company’s high performance vacuum insulation product. His manufacturing and application expertise has assisted many customers in the appliance, construction and transportation industries to effectively integrate the use of ThermoCor insulation into their products for greater thermal and energy efficiency. Doug has helped some of the world’s largest refrigeration manufacturers successfully incorporate ThermoCor vacuum insulation panels into their refrigerators to achieve U.S. Government Energy Star requirements.
